Business Administration Apprenticeship


This role is an administrative and supporting role, which provides essential support to the recruitment team. With appropriate training, the purpose of this role is to develop and maintain relationships with both clients and candidates, managing high levels of compliance and an effective payroll process throughout the placement period.

  • Provide support to the recruitment team in ensuring a smooth-running payroll process for workers, liaising with clients, candidates and consultants to ensure timesheets are received and processed in line with company deadlines
  • Maintaining a high level of compliance across the office by completing daily compliance checks on new workers, including full understanding of company quality and procedures, up to date knowledge of acceptable eligibility in accordance to the Home Office/Department of Immigration, undertaking eligibility to work checks and monitoring and recording candidate immigration status
  • To ensure all new starts are booked onto the system the day that they start - providing they are fully compliant
  • Organise and plan weekly activity including candidate registrations, compliance checks, chasing up missing compliance, bookings, timesheet gathering, and mini plans kept up to date
  • Ensuring all candidates receive timesheets by their preferred method (Email/Post) the week that they start on site
  • Chase up authorised timesheets from clients and candidates and ensure these are submitted for processing prior to the payroll deadline of 5.00pm Tuesday
  • Maintain the mini plan in order to keep track of the work force, compliance and timesheets in
  • Assisting with other projects that may arise within the business

GCSE in maths and English at C/4 or above - required (or the equivalent).
