Energy & Environmental Management Team are looking to recruit an Apprentice who is committed and motivated to complete the programme.   

Your duties will include; general office and administrative duties including answering the telephone, photocopying, filing, data input, typing notes, the provision of excellent customer care and the promotion of the Council’s Energy Management programme.


  • Provide general administrative support to the Energy & Environmental Management Section. This will include answering the telephone, photocopying, filing, data input and typing notes/reports on request
  • Assist in producing a variety of reports from specialised ICT systems, after training and under supervision
  • Data checking and data cleansing
  • Shadowing members of the team which can include visits to schools and community locations
  • Assisting in the promotion of the Energy & Environmental Management services/campaigns, including assisting at public events

Working week

Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week; shifts TBC.
