The Corporate Apprenticeship Team are looking to recruit an Apprentice who is committed and motivated to complete the programme.   

Your duties will include; general office/admin duties including answering the telephone, photocopying, electronic filing, data input and keeping records.  You will also be required to assist at the Council’s assessment centre to support the Apprenticeship Team with on-going recruitment of apprentices into the Council while working across various Council buildings in Sefton


  • Provide general administrative support to the Corporate Apprenticeship Team. This will include answering the telephone, photocopying, filing, data input and typing notes/reports on request
  • Supporting the Corporate Apprenticeship Team with recruitment of apprentices into the Council including attending assessments centres to provide admin support
  • Dealing with personal information for new starter apprentices and maintaining a high level of confidentiality
  • Assisting in the promotion of the Apprenticeship service and attending events to showcase the Apprenticeship Programme
  • Able to travel to a variety of Council buildings and work across two sites, one in the north of the Borough (Ainsdale) and one in the south, (Bootle)
  • Attending Careers Fairs when required

Working week

Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week; shifts TBC.
