Duties will include assisting with the cleanliness of the borough by supporting with the driving and operating of vehicles, whilst working as a member of the team alongside the cleansing operatives. You will need a full clean Driving Licence to apply for this post.

Summary

Shadowing the driver and supporting as necessary for the assigned vehicle, complete vehicle checks and report any faults, load and unload the vehicle, support the driver with the timings of routes and with any information on the collection and/or delivery of loads.

Skills

Previous experience of dealing with members of the general public

Knowledge of Sefton area

Knowledge of Manual Handling techniques.

Ability to complete paperwork required.

Ability to demonstrate reliability, promptness and good attendance.
