Working in a primary school, teaching children aged 4 - 11 years old. As a teaching assistant you would support teachers and help children with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom.

Summary
Main job duties will include:

Establish productive working relationships with pupils acting as a role model and setting high expectations.

Plan, lead and facilitate small group teaching.
- Assist in creating materials for curriculum delivery and working walls.
- Undertake playground duties, engaging with pupils and supporting them at playtime and lunchtime.
- Ensure that classroom stock is maintained and kept tidy and that resources are readily available.
- Attend regular meetings and undertake training and development relevant to the post and in line with school priorities.
Working week
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
37.5 hour per week
