Summary

MAIN DUTIES

  • Provide general administrative support to the Capital / Treasury Management Team. This will include answering the telephone, photocopying, filing, postal and banking duties.

 

  • Assist in the processing of invoices for payment and the maintenance of Excel spreadsheets to ensure that accurate records are kept.

 

  • Assist in the preparation of invoices to outside bodies

 

  • Assist in collation of information as required

 

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports from the Authority’s Agresso financial system

 

  • Process journals as required by the team in the Authority’s Agresso financial system, including coding corrections, recharges, and budget inputs

 

  • Investigation and correction of coding errors in the general ledgers

 

  • Assist in the monitoring and ordering of stationery and office supplies

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

Good level of keyboard skills

  • Experience of Microsoft OFFICE suite, in particular, Excel spreadsheets
  • Experience of Internet and e-mail

Desirable:

  • European Computer Driving Licence (or equivalent)
