We are looking to recruit a Business Support Apprentice to provide flexible high-quality administration to assist the Property Protection Team. The Property Protection Team are responsible for public health funerals for Liverpool Residents with no known next of kin, or whose families can’t afford or are not willing to pay for the funeral. Summary
18-month fixed term apprenticeship in Business Administration working in a supported environment to develop skills and knowledge whilst undertaking the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
Maintain appropriate, up to date and accurate electronic records on relevant systems including scanning and typing and printing correspondence and standard search documents.
Perform support duties related to the processing of information, chase outstanding documentation and record actions.
Liaise with internal and external customers, including Police, Coroners and Care Home Managers.

Requirements and prospects
Skills
Able to demonstrate good communication skills, both orally and in writing and able to communicate effectively with staff, managers and members of the public.
Knowledge of IT software packages, e.g. MS Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Able to provide excellent customer service within a busy environment.
Qualifications
5 GCSEs grade A*-C / 9-4 (including English and Maths) or equivalent (e.g. Level 2 functional skills or Level 2 NVQs)
Personal Qualities
A desire to learn and progress by undertaking training to obtain the necessary skills and knowledge for the role. This will include completing the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification.
