Each year employer rankings are published to highlight the top companies employing apprenticeships nationally. Two Apprenticeship Support by Be More Ambassadors made the top 40 in the country.

This year, two Liverpool City Region companies have been ranked in the top 40 of the nation’s companies as apprenticeship employers. They are Apprenticeship Support by Be More Ambassadors who are very active in helping to promote the apprenticeship agenda across the Liverpool City region.

The annual rankings are compiled by the Department for Education, in partnership with High Fliers Research. The list recognises employers for their overall commitment to employing apprentices, their creation of new apprenticeships, the diversity of their new apprentices, and the progression of their apprentices onto further apprenticeships and employment. The leader boards are designed to showcase the very best of England’s apprenticeship employers, who have developed and delivered some of the most successful apprenticeship programmes over the previous 12 months.

Kids Planet Nurseries were ranked 21st in the top 100 large Apprenticeship Employers while Sure Solutions were ranked 35th in a list of 50 SME companies.  Entries for the Top 50 SME Apprenticeship Employers were open to apprenticeship employers with 10-249 employees and a minimum of 3 apprentices.

Education Secretary, Nadhim Zahawi, said: “It is a fantastic achievement to be listed as one of the country’s most outstanding apprenticeship employers. Apprenticeships offer people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to gain the experience and skills needed to hit the ground running in their chosen career, while delivering the skilled workforce businesses need to grow and thrive. I would like to congratulate all employers large and small for their brilliant work.  I look forward to hearing more about their successful apprenticeship programmes.”
