The Apprenticeship Support team by Be-More is planning to be out and about this Summer. Would you like them at your next Summer event?

The Apprenticeship Support Team by Be More will be working hard this Summer providing impartial advice on Apprenticeships across the Liverpool City Region. Summer is an important time for people making career decisions.

Often on a Summer holiday people take time to think, plan and strive to achieve new career goals. “There are two key times during the year when people consider their career options and begin to think about their career trajectories. This is usually at Christmas, ready for the New Year and during a two week Summer holiday when they are refreshed and take time to plan. Also during the Summer school pupils get their exam results and begin to plan their first steps into the world of work,” reflects Anthony Hamer, Apprenticeship Support Skills Broker.

While the Schools are out for the Summer, the Apprenticeship Support by Be More Team are not. This year, to meet as many people as possible across the Liverpool City Region, they are planning a series of events they call their Summer Roadshow programme. You can expect to find the Team on hand to deliver impartial information in a relaxed atmosphere that is convenient for LCR residents. You may find them at a County Show, perhaps in a local shopping centre or your nearest community centre.

“We want people to know that if they are thinking about their career this Summer apprenticeships could be a useful route to help them on their career journey, whether they are looking to fill skill gaps, change career paths or get their first job,” explains Anthony.

The rolling programme of events begins this July and runs through until the start of the school academic year in September. If you would like the Apprenticeship Support by Be More Team to be at your Summer event then send Anthony an email. “Whether your event has lots of young people, some of whom are worried about their next steps into education or work, or people who could be looking for a career change then we would love to hear from you and explore putting your event into our Summer Roadshow programme,” says Anthony.
